Thunder Recreational Cheer classes (starting at age 5) focus on improving flexibility, core strength, coordination, focus, and overall fitness level while teaching the basics of cheerleading. Participants will be able to build and develop their cheerleading skills including stunting, jumping, tumbling, and dancing in a fun, safe and caring environment! Participants will BURN ENERGY, MAKE NEW FRIENDS, IMPROVE FOCUS throughout their experience.
Our competitive program provides athletes with an excellent cheerleading foundation as the focus is on teaching athletes proper techniques and progressions. Our competitive teams train once per week and the focus during the earlier part of the season is skill building. Athletes will learn a routine that highlights the skills they have learned and they will compete at local competitions.
