Classes are 4 days a week, (Monday-Thursday) for 3 hours a day. Sfx is a bilingual and fine arts program, as well. SFX study the 26 letters of the alphabet, one letter a week. We learn phonics, how to sight words and how to write the letter.
Each day starts with writing and practicing our own name! We learn to count to 100 and by tens. We have fun learning addition and subtraction with counting goldfish, teddy bear, and simply with our fingers.
SFX focuses on academics, reading groups, and emphasizes self-reliance in our class environment. Students learn skills they will need to be leaders and to be at the top of their class.
SFX takes fun adventurous field trips to places like the dentist, the library and the fish hatchery. We love our school bus trip where we learn how to ride safely while getting a ride around the town.
We love a day to celebrate!! We love a good birthday party. We have fun celebrating our moms and dads. Santa visits and we try to trap the leperchaun. Our parents are the best with the Trunk or Treat halloween party. We even dress up and sing at the Festival of Lights downtown!
