Toby's Story
Dance FX, Scholastic FX Owner
Toby is the sole owner of DFX Studio. He started Rock'n B Cloggers in 1996 and created Dance FX 2000 to start teaching all forms of dance. Toby danced on the BYUI dance team. He danced professionally in Branson, Missouri at Silver Dollar City. Toby was inducted into the American Clogging Hall of Fame in 2013. Toby loves to compete, and enjoys watching the teams progress to hit the stage.
MLHS Assistant Cheer Coach
Toby is the Assistant Cheer Coach at the Lake High School and is reigning 5X Co-ed State Cheer Champs. Toby cheered at the college level and enjoyed sharing the National cheer mats with his teammates. Tobys favorite cheer season is football, but he loves to watch his team compete.
Basin Community Theater President and Director
Toby formed and created the local Basin Community Theater Group. Directing and choreographing 17 shows, all different styles. Toby currently directed the local group in "Sound of Music" and childrens summer theater show, "Cinderella". Toby's favorite show to direct was "Fiddler on the Roof". His favorite show currently is "Hadestown."
Toby has played the piano since the age of six and plays professionally in a resturaunt in Spokane. He enjoys his ukelele and taught himself the cello during the covid pandemic.
